Another day and more rumors relating to the Patriots and potentially trading up in the NFL Draft for a quarterback.

Writing for The Athletic Wednesday, Jeff Howe says the Patriots think highly of Justin Fields, enough to look into trading all the way up to No. 4 overall with the Falcons.

"With the Patriots, these trade discussions are a strong indication they’ve found conviction in at least one of those top QBs, and word is they think highly of Justin Fields – highly enough that they’ve even spoken with the Falcons about the fourth pick," Howe wrote.

Obviously, moving from No. 15 to No. 4 would come with a major cost, especially considering what the 49ers gave up from going No. 12 to No. 3. San Francisco gave up the No. 12 overall pick this year, a third-round compensatory pick this year, and first-round picks in both 2022 and 2023.

Would the Patriots be willing to part ways with multiple first-round picks? It doesn't seem like something Bill Belichick would do, but as we've seen this offseason expect the unexpected.
