According to the mock drafts and NFL insiders, the Patriots will be targeting a quarterback in Round 1 of the NFL Draft and potentially could trade up to do so.
But, what if they don't get a QB, then what will they do?
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, the Patriots likely will select a cornerback with their first pick if they do not get a quarterback.
If that happens it would likely be either Jaycee Horn out of South Carolina or Patrick Surtain II, as those are the two best cornerbacks in the draft.
This wouldn't be a surprise, as cornerback is one of the needs the team has going into the draft.
New England selects No. 15 overall.
The report also adds Stephon Gilmore is a "sneaky candidate to get traded on draft weekend or soon thereafter."
