Over the last few days there have been a bunch of rumors when it comes to the Patriots potentially trading up in the top 10 of the NFL Draft for a quarterback, most likely Justin Fields.

So, which teams have they contacted? How high could they go? It would seem as high as No. 4 overall.

According to Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer, the Patriots have talked to almost every other team in front of them (with the exception of their division rivals) about moving up in the draft. Those teams would include the Falcons, Lions and Panthers.

This doesn't mean a trade is imminent or anything like that, it just means the Patriots are doing their due diligence when it comes to potentially trading up into the top 10.

The report also said one general manager picking in the top 10 believes the Patriots are more seriously looking at a trade up outside the top 10 rather than into the top 10.

We'll see how things go later Thursday.
