The Patriots have lost several members of their front office in recent years and it could potentially happen again this offseason.
ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler listed 10 “potential general manager candidates” in this year’s hiring cycle and two of them are members of the Patriots' front office -- Dave Ziegler and Eliot Wolf.
Ziegler took over for Nick Caserio as the Patriots' director of player personnel this season following interviewing, but later withdrawing, for the Broncos GM job. He's been with the Patriots since 2013.
Wolf is in his second year working in the Patriots' front office, but has plenty of past experience. He spent 14 seasons with Green Bay rising to director of football operations and then two years as the Browns’ assistant GM.
The two played key roles in the 2021 NFL Draft, which has so far yielded great results for the team.
