In recent years, Miami has become Foxboro South in a sense starting with head coach Brian Flores and a few other members of the Patriots signing with the Dolphins as free agents.
And it seems like more could be on the way.
According to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald, Miami plans to inquire on several Patriots free agents next week when free agency begins.
Some of the names mentioned are Adam Butler, Lawrence Guy and David Andrews. Although not included, James White could make sense too given what happened to his family last year and his mom living in South Florida.
The Patriots will enter free agency with the third-most cap space in the league.
The legal tampering period begins Monday with the new league year starting Wednesday afternoon.
