Earlier in the week it was reported and confirmed by Kyle Van Noy himself that the Dolphins were moving on from him after one season.
But, Van Noy has yet to be released and there's a reason why.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, Miami is trying to trade him.
This may prove difficult since Van Noy has a $12.5 million salary that becomes fully guaranteed on the third day of the league year.
Van Noy finished with 69 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries last season. This is pretty similar to what he did in New England, the only difference was he got a massive contract last offseason, so it's not proving to be worth it for Miami.
For what it's worth, Van Noy did not appear happy with the Dolphins' decision.
