A number of Patriots pass-catchers will be in California next week working out together.
And who organized the workouts may surprise you.
According to Mark Sanchez, yes that Mark Sanchez, the former Jets quarterback who now works for ESPN, Jarrett Stidham has organized "Pats West," where a majority of Patriots pass-catchers will head to California this weekend for a few days of work together.
In addition, Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal adds Hunter Henry and Cam Newton are likely to be part of the group.
The Patriots added pass-catchers Henry, Jonnu Smith, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne this week. And then players already on the roster include Julian Edelman, N'Keal Harry, Jakobi Meyers, Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene. It's unclear exactly who from this group will be there.
It is interesting Stidham is organizing these workouts as it would seem he's still behind Newton on the depth chart, and another quarterback could potentially be added this offseason.
Stidham will be entering his third year in the league.
