It doesn't appear Josh McDaniels will be joining Nick Caserio in Houston

On Tuesday night when it was learned Nick Caserio would be leaving New England to become Houston's next general manager, many immediately speculated Josh McDaniels could be joining him as the Texans' next head coach.

It would make sense given their time together in New England as well as being college teammates at John Carroll, but it doesn't seem like it will happen.

"New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels isn’t a candidate to become the Texans’ new head coach," John McClain, a highly respected Texans reporter with the Houston Chronicle wrote.

In fact, so far McDaniels has not received any interest from any team looking for a head coach.

Based on what's transpired over the last few days, it's looking more and more like McDaniels will be staying in New England.
