What will the Patriots' quarterback situation look like come the start of next season?

No one really knows, but NBC Sports Boston's Tom E. Curran is fairly certain it won't be just Cam Newton and Jarrett Stidham.

“Nil. No way," Curran said on Gresh & Keefe Tuesday when asked if that could happen. "They are going to add someone. They are going to add someone in the draft.”

He added: “I would think by the fourth round there would be a quarterback. And if not, there’s Teddy Bridgewater or Jimmy Garoppolo, or whoever else might be coming in. But, I think Cam Newton’s contract announces to everyone with a bull horn, ‘We’re not looking at this guy as our starter, unchallenged.’ And everything that has been said means he’s not their starter until he’s challenged. He has to win that job. This is really when you think about it, Jarrett Stidham’s second year. This is his second offseason. Last offseason didn’t count. I still say don’t pull the ripcord on him yet.”

The Patriots have 10 overall selections in the NFL Draft, including four in the top 120.
