Nick Caserio has done a great job during his many years with the Patriots and other teams have taken notice.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Panthers have requested permission to speak to him for their GM opening after Marty Hurney was fired on Dec. 21.
Caserio is currently the Patriots' director of player personnel, but holds many hats with the organization and the team.
Back in 2019, the Patriots filed tampering chargers against the Texans for them attempting to hire Caserio for their GM job that was open at the time.
Caserio signed a multi-year contract extension with the Patriots early in 2020 when it was set to expire following the draft.
