The Patriots continue to add to their roster, as they reportedly added two players on Thursday.
According to Adam Schefter, safety Adrian Colbert has signed with the team. He played for the Giants last year and Dolphins in 2019. Injuries limited him to just six games in 2020.
It's worth noting the last two years he's played under former Patriots assistants.
In addition, the Patriots brought back a familiar face in running back Tyler Gaffney, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Gaffney was with the Patriots from 2014-16, then bounced around between the Jaguars and 49ers before giving professional baseball a shot. He played in the Pirates minor league system, but now is back in New England.
The Patriots have added a number of depth pieces this week.
