In some years, some teams only have one kicker, but things have been different in 2020 due to expanded practice squads and COVID-19.
The Patriots have had two most of the year -- Nick Folk on the active roster and rookie Justin Rohrwasser on the practice squad -- but now they are adding a third.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, the team is signing Roberto Aguayo to the practice squad after he was recently in for a visit.
Aguayo was drafted in the second round of the 2016 draft by the Buccaneers, but has bounced around the league since.
It is worth noting Folk, 36, is a free agent after the season.
