After losing a key member of the front office last offseason, the Patriots could be losing another this offseason.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Ryan Poles of the Chiefs, Monti Ossenfort of the Titans, and Eliot Wolf of the Patriots are expected to get second interviews with the Bears for their vacant general manager job. The report adds Morocco Brown of the Colts could also get a second interview.
Wolf is in his second season with the Patriots as a scouting consultant. He reportedly played a key role in the draft last year. Ossenfort, obviously, got his start with the Patriots.
Nick Caserio departed New England last offseason to be Houston's general manager and the organization had a number of people fill his duties.
The 39-year-old interviewed with the Vikings last week for the same job and is very familiar to the NFC North as he was with the Packers from 2003-17. His last two years there he was the director of football operations. After Green Bay, Wolf was Cleveland's assistant general manager for two years before joining the Patriots.
Another member of the Patriots front office -- Dave Ziegler, director of player personnel -- has been requested by Las Vegas to be its next general manager.
