The Patriots are continuing their search for some depth at the cornerback position.
With injuries to Shaun Wade, Jonathan Jones and Jalen Mills, as well as Joejuan Williams being a healthy scratch two of the last three weeks, it seems the team isn't happy with what it has.
According to the NFL transaction wire, the Patriots brought in another veteran cornerback for a workout on Friday in D.J. Hayden.
Hayden was a first-round pick by the Raiders in 2013 and he spent the first four years of his career there. He then went to Detroit for a year and finally played the last three seasons in Jacksonville, but appeared in just five games last year due to a hamstring injury.
Cornerback Myles Bryant was signed to the 53-man roster off the practice squad this week.
