Practice squad linebacker/defensive end Tashawn Bower wasn't spotted at Patriots practice earlier in the day on Wednesday, and it was for good reason.
According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, Bower has been signed by the Vikings to their active roster.
Bower has appeared in two games for the Patriots this season and has one tackle and a sack. He came into the league in 2017 with the Vikings, so this will be a reunion for him and a chance to play.
The Patriots now have three spots on their practice squad open, even though they signed punter Corliss Waitman on Tuesday.
