Isaiah Wynn has at least a few more years with the team.
According to multiple reports, the Patriots have picked up the fifth-year option on offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn.
This means his salary is fully guaranteed for the 2022 season at $10.413 million. With the Patriots not drafting an offensive tackle high in the draft, this did not come as much of a surprise.
When on the field, Wynn has been solid, but the biggest concern with him has been injuries.
Meanwhile, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reports the Patriots likely will not pick up Sony Michel's fifth-year option. This also wasn't much of a surprise, as his number for 2022 would have been $4.5 million in 2022.
Michel will be on the roster for this coming season, but then will be a free agent. New England obviously could bring him back at a lesser number, too.
