The Patriots will likely have the best special teams tandem in the NFL once again in 2021.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the Patriots have re-signed special teamer Justin Bethel to a three-year, $6 million deal.
Bethel joined the Patriots in the middle of the 2019 season and teamed up with Matthew Slater, another special teams ace, to give the Patriots a huge edge on special teams While it's not official, it does seem like Slater will be back for another season.
This is another example of the Patriots valuing special teams perhaps more than any other team.
The 30-year-old is a three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro.
