After long-snapper Joe Cardona was injured in Sunday's practice, the Patriots have added another one.
According to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe, Brian Khoury has been signed. He's present at practice Monday. A roster spot was open after Jake Dolegala was released earlier in the day.
Khoury, 29, went undrafted out of Division III Carnegie Mellon in 2017. He has no NFL experience, but was a defensive end/long snapper in the XFL in 2020.
He signed with Baltimore in March, but was released in May.
Cardona reportedly is expected to miss some time, but it's unclear how long. Deatrich Wise and Jonnu Smith served as backup towards the end of Sunday's practice.
