The Patriots now only have two kickers on their roster.
On Tuesday, the team waived Justin Rohrwasser. The Marshall product was the first kicker selected in the draft last year, which was in the fifth round.
Rohrwasser never appeared in any games for New England, as he spent the entire year on the practice squad. The team re-signed Nick Folk last week and Roberto Aguayo is still on the roster after being signed late last year.
He made headlines on draft weekend when it was learned he had a controversial "Three Percenters" tattoo, but it reportedly was removed before training camp over the summer.
In addition, the team also waived linebackers Cassh Maluia and Michael Pinckney. Maluia was a sixth-round pick last year.
