New England (3-4) will be far from full strength for its critical AFC East battle with the Jets (5-2) Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium.

With center David Andrews (concussion) and defensive tackle Christian Barmore (knee) ruled out on Friday’s injury report, and safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) downgraded to out prior Saturday’s flight to New York, the Patriots will be missing three key starters against the streaking Jets.

The rest of New England’s inactives announced Sunday morning include rookie running back Kevin Harris, rookie defensive lineman Sam Roberts and cornerback Shaun Wade, all healthy scratches.

With Andrews inactive, veteran backup James Ferentz will start at center. Ferentz has played two games this season in a reserve role, but has started six games since 2019 for New England.

New England does get right tackle Isaiah Wynn back in uniform after the veteran missed last week’s loss to the Bears with a shoulder injury. It will be interesting if he regains his starting role at right tackle, after Marcus Cannon filled in last week. Elsewhere on the line, veteran Yodny Cajuste will be in uniform after being added to the active roster from injured reserve.
