The Patriots are dealing with an injury in their running backs room ahead of Week 1.
According to The Athletic's Jeff Howe, rookie Rhamondre Stevenson dislocated his thumb last week in practice. He adds there's optimism he will be able to play on Sunday against Miami.

If Stevenson cannot go, a combination of Damien Harris, James White, J.J. Taylor and Brandon Bolden will have to play bigger roles.
