Could another star player be joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
According to NFL reporter Josina Anderson, the Bucs will "definitely investigate" Stephon Gilmore's availability.
On Wednesday morning, it was reported the Patriots will release Gilmore, but the move won't become official until 4 p.m., so it's possible he could be traded before then.
Gilmore's quad reportedly is healthy and one of the reasons the Patriots are moving on is being up against the salary cap.
Tampa Bay has major issues in its secondary and that's one of the primary reasons for adding Richard Sherman last week.
The Bucs likely won't be the only team interested in the 31-year-old's services, though. We'll see how the day unfolds.
