Josh McDaniels hasn't been requested to interview for any of the vacant head-coaching jobs around the league, but apparently that isn't due to a lack of interest.

According to Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk 790, McDaniels has significant interest around the league, including from the Bears, Vikings and Giants. Also one would expect the Texans to have interest now that David Culley has been fired.

The report adds McDaniels is not expected to pursue any head-coaching opportunities during the postseason, which could explain why he's yet to be requested.

Patriots assistant Jerod Mayo has been requested to interview with the Broncos, so there's at least a chance of the Patriots losing two coaches this offseason.
