The Patriots hosting the Buccaneers in Week 4 is receiving a ton of hype for obvious reasons, including the expectation that it will be the only time Bill Belichick will face Tom Brady.

But, that might not be true after all.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the new 17th game on the schedule has the Patriots hosting a NFC South in team 2023.

Now, a few things would need to happen in order for Brady and the Bucs to come to New England.

No. 1, Brady would need to play a 24th season at the age of 46 (with Tampa Bay) and the Patriots and Buccaneers would need to finish in the same spot in the division during the 2022 season (first place, second place etc.).

The Patriots will host the Cowboys this season with the 17th game and next year will travel to the NFC West team that finishes in the same spot in the standings this season.
