Tom Brady and the Buccaneers held on to beat the Eagles, 28-22, on Thursday Night Football.
Brady was very sharp, completing 34-of-42 passes for 297 yards to go along with two touchdowns and an interception.
It was the 112th time in his career in which he attempted at least 40 passes in a game, but the first of those in which he completed over 80% of his attempts. Brady had an 81% completion percentage on the road Thursday night.
Brady did this while dealing with an injury to his throwing thumb.
Prior to the game, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported the 44-year-old has a strained ligament in his right thumb, which he suffered last week in the win over Miami.
The quarterback will get some extended time to heal with the Buccaneers taking on the Bears next a week from Sunday.
