The Patriots' front office look a lot different in 2021.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dave Ziegler, the Patriots’ assistant director of player personnel, has been requested by the Broncos to interview for their GM opening.
He was promoted from director of pro personnel last summer.
Although Zigeler has been with the Patriots for eight seasons after he broke into the NFL with the Broncos when Josh McDaniels was there, he doesn't get as much attention as some other Patriots executives like Nick Caserio and Monti Ossenfort, who is now with the Titans.
Ziegler was a college teammate of Caserio and McDaniels at John Carroll University.
Denver is in search of a GM after John Elway got a new role this week where he no longer is in charge of roster decisions and that will be the job of the new GM.
