During the Super Bowl parade for the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, a photographer, who was capturing the festivities, took a nasty fall off a stage during the teams' celebration, fracturing her spine--all while Rams star QB Matthew Stafford, who was in the vicinity, appeared to walk away with offering no assistance.
In the clip, Kelly Smiley, who is a photog for the Crypto.com arena, the L.A. Kings and the Anaheim Ducks, was captured on video slipping and falling several feet to the ground right in front of the Rams star quarterback and his wife Kelly. When reacting to just what occurred, Stafford appeared to say "oh my" while his wife, Kelly, who was equally as stunned, started walking towards Smiley to assist her. Stafford, instead of joining his wife, turned away to take a sip from his water bottle.
The video cuts off right after the fall so it's not clear if Stafford actually decided to help the photographer out or not.
Some users across Twitter were quite critical of Stafford's reaction, saying that he should've assisted Smiley instead of walking away as if nothing had happened.

In the aftermath of her fall, Smiley took to Instagram to explain her condition.
"I unfortunately fractured my spine today,” Smiley said while showing off the back brace she was wearing while at the hospital. “Feeling ok. Staying the night in the trauma center. Thank you everyone for reaching out.”
There has already been a GoFundMe page set up for Smiley, which currently has raised over $4,000 at the time of this article. Whether you believe Stafford should've stepped in and assisted Smiley or not, let's hope that the Rams and/or Stafford can help her foot some of the expenses involved with her injury.
Stafford, who was taking swigs of tequila throughout the course of the parade was sent some advice by the 'GOAT' Tom Brady after he embarrassed himself during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers victory parade on a boat.
The Rams were celebrating their 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI, the franchise's second Lombardi Trophy.
