Patriots 2020 practice squad tracker: Latest on who has been added

The Patriots, like all other NFL teams, have begun constructing their practice squads for the 2020 season.

As has been noted a number of times, this year is a lot different as practice squads are now 16 players instead of the usual 10. Also, up to six veterans can now be on practice squads. In the past, it was limited to players who have played less than three seasons.


Here's the latest when it comes to who is on the Patriots' practice squad.

— Defensive tackle Bill Murray is expected to be on the practice squad, per Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

— According to NESN's Doug Kyed, linebacker Terez Hall will be added. Kyed also adds linebacker Scoota Harris will not likely be staying with the team on the practice squad.

— Cornerback D'Angelo Ross is staying with the Patriots, per Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal.

— Defensive back Myles Bryant and linebacker Cassh Maluia are expected to sign with the Patriots practice squad, per The Athletic's Jeff Howe.

— Kicker Justin Rohrwasser is staying with the Patriots on the practice squad, per Mark Daniels of The Providence Journal.

-- According to multiple reports, tight end Jake Burt will also be staying with the team on the practice squad.

-- According to Andrew Callahan of The Boston Herald, defensive tackle Nick Thurman will be added to the practice squad.

-- According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, Nick Folk is also back on the practice squad. As of Sunday, the Patriots have two kickers on the practice squad.

-- Based on who was at practice Sunday, here's 15 of the 16-person initial practice squad: Nick Folk, Justin Rohrwasser, Xavier Williams, Myles Bryant, Nick Thurman, Terez Hall, Devin Ross, D'Angelo Ross, Isaiah Zuber, Bill Murray, Caash Maluia, Jake Burt, Paul Quessenberry, Rashod Berry & J.J. Taylor.
