One of the busiest days for transactions in the NFL is here as all teams need to get down to 53 players by 4 p.m.
The Patriots currently at 77 players following a few moves earlier in the week to trim their roster from 80 players. The next few days will go a little different than usual since practice squads are expanded to 16 players this season.
Decisions made Saturday will be even tougher than usual since there were no preseason games or joint practices to go on.

- The biggest surprise yet: According to Adam Schefter the Patriots are cutting running back Lamar Miller.
- According to Jeff Howe, the Patriots are releasing offensive lineman Tyler Gauthier and wide receiver Andre Baccellia.
- Quarterback Brian Lewerke and offensive guard Ben Braden have been cut loose, according to multiple reports.
