With OTAs and minicamp now in the rearview mirror, the Patriots have announced the official opening day of training camp.
New England’s players will report to training camp on July 26th, with the team holding the first day of training camp practices a day later on Wednesday, July 27th in front of fans on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.

Not only did the Patriots announce the first four days of training camp practices that will be open to the public from July 27-30, but the team also confirmed a couple different joint practice sessions it will take part in this summer.
New England will host the Carolina Panthers for two days of joint practice action on Tuesday, Aug. 16 and Wednesday, Aug. 17 leading up to the teams’ preseason battle at Gillette Stadium on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7:00 pm.
The Patriots will also hold joint practice sessions in Las Vegas with Josh McDaniels’ Raiders leading up to those teams playing a preseason game in Sin City on Friday, Aug. 26, though the details of those sessions have not yet be announced.
