FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots opened training camp Wednesday morning on the grass fields behind Gillette Stadium. The session was not held with pads, as those will not come on until next week.
Here's who were not spotted at the start of the practice: quarterback Jarrett Stidham, cornerback Stephon Gilmore, linebacker Brandon King, tight end Dalton Keene, outside linebacker Chase Winovich, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, linebacker Cameron McGrone, linebacker Anfernee Jennings, linebacker Terez Hall, safety Joshuah Bledsoe, tight end Devin Asiasi and defensive tackle Byron Cowart.
Jennings was the only player not on the COVID list, NFI or PUP.
After being placed on PUP Tuesday, Kyle Van Noy and Trent Brown practiced, so they are off the list. Van Noy did have a red, non-contact jersey.
While Gilmore did not practice, he did join his teammates on the sideline towards the end of the session.
The Patriots will return to the field Thursday morning.
