There was a lot of news coming out of the media portion of Patriots practice on Wednesday, which was held outdoors in cold, rainy conditions.
J.J. Taylor, who had been on the COVID list for quite some time, returned. Meanwhile, N'Keal Harry and Ja'Whaun Bentley, who were injured Saturday against the Colts, were also present.
Players missing included Yasir Durant (COVID), Kendrick Bourne (COVID), Rhamondre Stevenson (unknown) and Nelson Agholor (injured vs. Colts). Harvey Langi (COVID) also was not spotted. He's still on injured reserve, but was practicing last week.
The good news getting Taylor back, as well as Harry and Bentley being present after leaving Saturday's game with injuries. The most surprising, and bad news, was Stevenson being absent. He finished the game last Saturday night.
Relating to Sunday, the Patriots could be thin at wide receiver with Bourne and Agholor potentially being out. This could mean practice squad elevations from Kristian Wilkerson and/or Tre Nixon.
The first injury report of the week will come out later in the day as the Patriots prepare to host the Bills in a big AFC East game on Sunday.
