EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The following Patriots players are inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets: offensive tackle Trent Brown, outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, outside linebacker Ronnie Perkins, tight end Devin Asiasi and defensive back Shaun Wade.
Brown (calf) and Van Noy (throat) were ruled out ahead of Sunday.
Perkins will miss his second straight game with a shoulder injury, while Stevenson, Asiasi and Wade are healthy inactives. Stevenson is the most notable as he was likely benched for his play in Week 1. The rookie played just five snaps, which included a fumble and a missed blitz pickup.
J.J. Taylor will take Stevenson's place on the game-day roster. After being elevated from the practice squad Saturday, both Nick Folk and Tashawn Bower are active.
Both the Patriots and Jets come into the game 0-1.
