Updates on several Patriots starters who were injured Sunday

Sunday was not a great practice for the Patriots when it comes to the health of their team.

Several starters either left the practice or were not able to finish.

Here are the latest updates on those players.

Hunter Henry- According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the tight end is getting a MRI on his shoulder that was injured in the session. Early indications are it isn’t considered serious, but it could cause him to miss some training camp time and preseason action.

The good news is it's not considered serious. The bad news is the tight end is banged up again, which has been the case for various portions of his professional career.

David Andrews- Pro Football Focus' Doug Kyed reports X-rays on his hand came back negative. The center remained on the field the entire practice, but did not participate in the final 11-on-11 periods.

This is obviously good news and we'll see if he's on the field Monday afternoon.

Joe Cardona -- According to Jeff Howe of The Athletic, he could miss some time after leaving Sunday's practice early. Cardona exited the field with Henry, but it was unclear exactly what happened to the Patriots' long-snapper.

Deatrich Wise filled in for him on field goal attempts, while Jonnu Smith did on punts.
