6 rings: Projecting the Patriots 53-man roster
For the second time on Sunday, the Patriots have traded for an offensive lineman.
According to The Score’s Jordan Schultz, New England has acquired OL Vederian Lowe from the Vikings. Lowe was a sixth-round pick for Minnesota in 2022.
Aaron Wilson followed up Schultz’s report with the compensation. The Patriots are sending a sixth-round pick to the Vikings for Lowe.
Just over 10 hours earlier, New England added more offensive line depth when they traded running back Pierre Strong Jr. to the Browns in exchange for Tyrone Wheatley Jr.
The Patriots must cut down their roster to 53 players by Tuesday at 4 p.m. You can follow along at our WEEI.com roster tracker here.
