A total of 36 NFL players were placed on the COVID list Monday and the Patriots were not spared.
Tight end Dalton Keene was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. The second-year player has been on injured reserve since the start of the season.
All players are tested on Mondays, which is a main reason for the high number of positive tests.
Kyle Dugger and J.J. Taylor, who both missed last week's game against the Bills because they were on the COVID list, are expected to be activated this week.
New England will take on Indianapolis Saturday night in Indy.
