You didn't expect Bill Belichick to go the predictable route with his first overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, did you?
After trading out of the No. 21 spot to No. 29 overall, Belichick pulled off the shocker of the first round by taking guard Cole Strange out of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
Strange was a red-shirt senior whose stock rose significantly during the postseason exhibitions - the Senior Bowl and the NFL Combine. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weights 307 pounds, running a 5.03 40-yard dash.
