The last two Patriots draft picks are the first two to sign contracts with the team.
On Tuesday, sixth-round offensive lineman William Sherman and seventh-round wide out Tre Nixon signed their rookie deals with the team.
Sherman was a three-year starter at the University of Colorado and saw time at both right tackle and left tackle. Nixon began his career at Ole Miss, but played the last two seasons at UCF. He only played in four games last fall because of a dislocated collar bone.
Nixon will most be known for being "The Ernie Adams" pick, as Bill Belichick allowed him to make the selection in what was his last draft.
Rookie minicamp for the Patriots will begin Friday.
