Patriots add offensive line depth ahead of Phase 2 of voluntary offseason workout program

Phase 2 of the voluntary offseason workout program in the NFL kicked off Monday, which includes on-field work with coaches being able to work with players.

Ahead of this, the Patriots have brought in a few veteran offensive linemen.

According to multiple reports, Alex Redmond has signed with the team after a workout last week. He's started 24 games the last three seasons and is primarily a right guard. Redmond has been with the Bengals since 2016.

In addition, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports James Ferentz is also back in the mix. He's bounced back-and-forth between the Patriots' active roster and practice squad since 2017 and can play all three interior spots.

Both players figure to be battling for depth spots come training camp if they can stick around.
