Four days after the NFL Draft, the Patriots have made their first UDFA signing.
According to his Twitter account, Michigan kicker Quinn Nordin has signed with the team.
Nordin kicked all four years while at Michigan, going 119-for-124 on extra points and 42-for-58 on field goals. He does have a strong leg, as he set the Citrus Bowl record in 2020 for the longest made field goal (57 yards). Additionally, he has the Michigan program record for field goals made from at least 40 yards (14).
He joins Nick Folk and Roberto Aguayo as kickers on the roster.
New England now has seven open roster spots.
