The Patriots made a few roster moves ahead of Sunday's season opener against the Dolphins.
Kicker Nick Folk and quarterback Brian Hoyer were elevated from the practice squad, and wide receiver Isaiah Ford was placed on injured reserve.
Hoyer did not come as much of a surprise since Mac Jones was the only quarterback on the active roster. And then with Folk it appears he will kick on Sunday and Quinn Nordin will be a healthy inactive. Nordin was on the 53-man roster likely because the Patriots feared he'd be claimed if exposed to waivers.
Ford was picked up off waivers from Miami last week, but likely suffered an injury in practice that landed him on IR.
New England will host Miami at 4:25 p.m. Sunday.
