The Patriots made a few minor roster moves on Tuesday.
After suffering a knee injury against the Jets, linebacker Harvey Langi has been placed on injured reserve, per the NFL transaction wire. This means he has to miss the next three games at minimum.
And then safety Elijah Benton has been released from the practice squad. The Patriots have one open spot on the practice squad and two spots on the 53-man roster.
In addition, the team hosted three players for workouts: running back Rodney Smith, offensive lineman Casey Tucker and offensive lineman Willie Wright.
No signings appear imminent and it's just a case of the Patriots doing their due diligence.
