Last week was the beginning of the NFL's voluntary offseason workout program. Many teams had players release statements through the NFLPA saying they would not be participating out of concerns with the pandemic.
The Patriots' players also released a statement, although theirs was slightly different as it said "many" would not be participating.
According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, a "signifiant" group of Patriots players attended last week, including Cam Newton, Trent Brown, Jonnu Smith, Jakobi Meyers, Jalen Mills and Kendrick Borune.
The workouts will continue for the next few months, leading up to mandatory minicamp in early June.
Players workout at Gillette Stadium, although due to COVID-protocols only a certain number are allowed in the facility at a time.
