the rich keefe show: Are the Patriots better after multiple re-signings?

The Patriots are signing/re-signing their third offensive lineman since the start of free agency.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, New England is signing former Buccaneers guard Nick Leverett.

Leverett, an undrafted free agent in 2020, has played in 16 career NFL games -- starting 10 in 2022 (protecting Tom Brady). He gives the Patriots interior offensive line insurance with Cole Strange likely to miss some time this offseason due to a knee injury.

The signing of Leverett, as mentioned above, is New England's third transaction at offensive line during free agency. They signed former Steelers tackle Chukwuma Okorafor last Thursday and re-signed tackle Mike Onwenu on Monday night.
