Patriots catch big break vs. Dolphins, who have several key players inactive

While the Patriots will be without their leading rusher in Damien Harris against Miami Sunday, the Dolphins' situation is much worse.

Tight end Mike Gesicki, wide receiver DeVante Parker and wide receiver Jakeem Grant are all inactive for the Dolphins. With wide receiver Preston Williams on injured reserve and Myles Gaskin on the COVID list, the Dolphins will be without their top five pass-catchers.

This is not good for rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but is good news for the Patriots defense.

For the Patriots, the following players are inactive: Harris, wide receiver Donte Moncrief, quarterback Brian Hoyer, tight end Jordan Thomas and defensive back Joejuan Williams.

Williams is the only real surprise, as the 2019 second-round pick is a healthy scratch.

J.J. Taylor and Terrence Brooks are back on the field as Taylor hasn't played since Week 3 while Brooks has been a healthy scratch the last few weeks.
