jones and mego: The Buffalo Bill... Belichicks?
We now know of a third offensive coordinator candidate for the Patriots.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Bengals quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher will interview with New England on Tuesday.
Pitcher will reportedly Zoom with the Patriots before flying to Las Vegas to interview with the Raiders, followed by an interview with the Saints on Thursday.
A former college quarterback, Pitcher (37) played at both Colgate and SUNY-Cortland before becoming their wide receivers coach in 2012. He's worked on Cincinnati's offensive staff since 2016 and has been Bengals star signal caller Joe Burrow's quarterbacks coach since he was drafted in 2020.
Pitcher's interview with the Patriots on Tuesday is the third confirmed meeting in their search. They spoke with their former tight ends coach Nick Caley on Monday and now have both Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson and Pitcher on the agenda for Tuesday.
