While there's still one week to go in the regular season, the playoff picture is starting to become clear and now the discussion is about matchups and runs to the Super Bowl.
Appearing on Gresh & Keefe Tuesday, NBC Sports' Peter King expressed high hopes for the Patriots come the postseason, saying they could beat any team, any where.
“I’m very surprised the way Buffalo has struggled the way they have this year. They seem to be coming alive at the right time, but shoot, they are down to Atlanta at halftime at home in a game they have to have? They’re an odd team this year," King said. "I don’t know what quite to make of them. And then, there’s the Patriots, who I think could win any game, any where in the playoffs.
“… I don’t remember the AFC being as wide open. I could see five teams, easily five teams, get to the Super Bowl from the AFC. Buffalo, New England, Cincinnati, Kansas City and Tennessee. I could see all of them getting there.”
Listen to King's full interview, and discussion on the AFC beginning at the 7:00 mark.
