With the fourth-most cap space in the NFL this offseason, the Patriots will certainly be active, but will they be able to add some big names?
Pro Football Focus doesn't think so.
It recently predicted landing spots for the top 50 free agents and the Patriots did not land any of them.
The majority of the big names return to their current teams either with new deals or with the franchise tag, such as Dak Prescott, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Chris Godwin, Allen Robinson and Hunter Henry.
As it relates to two Patriots free agents, PFF has Joe Thuney signing with the Bengals and Cam Newton signing with Washington.
Some notable players signing with other teams in this prediction are J.J. Watt (Browns), JuJu Smith-Schuster (Jets), Corey Davis (Ravens) and Jonnu Smith (Cardinals).
