Pro Football Focus omits Patriots on list of most improved teams this offseason

Following the NFL Draft, Pro Football Focus put out a list of the most improved teams this offseason, which includes free agency and the draft.

Curiously, the Patriots were not one of the six teams included.

PFF listed (in alphabetical order) the Bears, Bengals, Browns, Chargers, Giants and Jets.

Besides Mac Jones, the Patriots did not steal any headlines in the draft, but they did add some solid players, including getting the top ranked defensive lineman by some -- Christian Barmore -- in Round 2. The draft aside, the Patriots were one of the most active teams in free agency, adding a number of players who will drastically improve their roster from a year ago.

Offensively, the pass-catchers got a major boost with Hunter Henry, Jonnu Smith, Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne being added. Then on defense, the team added solid outside linebackers in Matthew Judon and Kyle Van Noy, as well as upgrading its defensive line.

While it's not a huge deal and just a PFF list, it did seem a little interesting that it did not include the Patriots, who should be much better than a year ago.
