The Patriots caught their biggest fish yet in free agency, reportedly signing defensive tackle Milton Williams.
"Splash: The #Patriots are taking the biggest defender off the market, as #Eagles DT Milton Williams lands in New England, per me and @MikeGarafolo," NFL Media's Ian Rapoport posted on X Monday afternoon.
According to Rapoport, Williams will make $26 million per year. Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the entire deal will be worth $104 million and span four years.
"New England beat out the Cardinals and Panthers in the bidding," Breer posted on X.
Williams, 25, has played his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He's only missed one regular season game in four seasons, and tallied 11 solo tackles and 10 quarterback hits last season.
